All the websites on Internet have posted the above page for update for Android L, but not quite sure. Because the update file size should be 560 Mb and I could not find that big size update yet.
Maybe first wait for some days and follow these steps and later go to the rooting if it does not work.
I will pen down the steps for the manual update was well as for rooting.
If the method 1 does not work or fail then go to method 2 and method 1 is official and non rooting so does not void your warranty.
Method 1
Steps to do before your start upgrading the phone.
1) Make a proper backup of all your data and settings manually of all the things in your PC.
2) Enable USB Debugging Mode. Go to Settings>>Developer Options>>USB Debugging
3) Download latest Xolo One USB drivers to your PC.
adb-setup-1.4.2.zip
You can get it from the above link..
After installing the USB drivers, download the download link to your PC and rename it to update.zip.
Do not unzip it but just rename the file.

After downloading transfer the file to your phone via USB.
> Connect the USB to your phone and wait for it to show in the notification tray.
> Select the first one out of the available options which is USB Connected.
> Once the USB is connected you get Green Android icon with below and option to turn on USB Storage and once you select that the Green Android Icon will change to Orange Color.
> Copy the downloaded and re-named file update.zip to your phone memory.
COPY IT IN THE ROOT FOLDER. It means do not copy in any sub folders or anything, directly in the ROOT folder.
> Wait for it to copy later disconnect the USB storage and start to upgrade.
How??
>Go to your to phone and launch the 'XOLO Care' app, and in the 'UPDATE' tab 'Check for Software Update'.
> Click on the icon 'Check for Updates'
>Click on 'Continue' and it will update automatically and will take 10 minimum for the upgrade process.

>Connect your phone to your PC via USB cable
> Once connected, root genius will show device model and display device model and message "Connected, Not Rooted"
> Later tick the box next to "User Agreement" and Click on the green "Root it" button for the process to begin.
> It might take a minute or two and your device will reboot automatically.
> Disconnect your device and your phone is rooted.
Its just rooted means the just became manufacture free. You still have to install a custom ROM and update to Android L.
Now download CWM Recovery to your laptop and trasnfer it to your phone and install it.
Download CWM recovery for all Xolo Smartphone
You can look for the XOLO one and download it your PC place your SD card and install it.
Open the app and find the sutiable custom ROMS on internet and place then on your SD card and use CWM app to select the file and install it.
